" Ethereal Jazz Band"

It was created in 1989 by Mr. Gerardo Chacón , aimed to interpret musical pieces of his own, jazz standards and Venezuelan music on new versions, due to the uprising of interesting events like the "Caracas Jazz festival"; wich made possible to group musicians devoting to esploring new tendencies into the "Jazzy" mood.

Renown talented musicians like Rafael "El Gallo" Velásquez, Marino Suarez, Olegario Dìaz, Andres Briceño, Manuel Barrios, Roberto Jirón, Andres Carrasquero, Junior Romero, Filemon Monterola, Luis Perdomo, Alfredo Naranjo, Vladimir Quintero, Gerald "Chipi" Chacón, Joel Martínez, Julio Andrade, Gerardo Lòpez, Benjamín Brea, Jorge Arias, Edgar Zambrano, Pedrito Lòpez, Gonzalo Micó, Carlos Eduardo Arellano, Ernesto Marichales, Juan Manuel Trujillo and so on..., are among the pioneers of this unique musical experience.

Actually, Gerardo Chacón and his "Ethereal Jazz" is engaged into a Venezuelan - Caribbean project which includes the Latin Jazz Sound as a support. It will be issued pretty soon.

Ethereal: It derives from "Ether", a universal substance at the service of creation and the creators.
