Avant- garde musician who combines experience and knowledge with the execution and musical creation, enabling him to dive properly into the different modes of jazz as well as the academic, latin and Venezuelan music.
He was born in San Cristobal -Venezuelan Andean region -, where he gave the first steps towards music led by his father (also composer and musician); developing at the same time, a good taste and love for the musical arts.
Once completed his music career and cosolidated as a professional musician in his native land, he travelled to Caracas (Venezuelan capital City), where started his artistic career from 1988.
He has been participant in the recording of numerous Compact Discs , highlighting his " Ethereal Jazz " production among them. As an instrumentalist, he has accompanied Many Local and International Groups and singers and has belonged to relevant jazz bands and latin music.
Mr. Chacon´ s repertoire includes a huge catalogue of Scores and Compositions shaped in such formats as jazz bands, Venezuelan folk music, chamber music, symphonic bands and orchestras, etc..., which have been the result of perseverance and professional effort. He has won solidity into an audacious and original concept.
